Linda and Scott

I first learned about Cindy through a friend. Her mom had been to her and recommended Cindy to me. I was interested as we had health changes around our son Duncan and I hoped she might be able to help with this. In the ready, she said that she saw us moving and went on to describe the property in great detail. We weren't considering a move at this time. However, one day Scott and I were out in our car and we went by a property that was for sale. We couldn't see much from the road as it was quite secluded. we called the realtor and found out that is was listed for $600,000. Wow! We decided to look at it anyway, so we set up a time with the realtor. As were taken onto the property I started to see all the details Cindy had saw in the reading. The level of accuracy was astounding. Both Scott and I instantly fell in love with it. However, the property was out of our price range. We told the realtor we were very interseted by couldn't justify buying the accompanying 88 acres of farm land that came with it. As were about to leave, the realtor suggested that we could try to sever the farm land to make it possible. Where we live in Ontario there is a high concentration of farm land. In our county, it was pretty well impossible to sever land in this way. They were trying to protect land against encroachment by city folk. As well, no realtor that I know of would suggest such a thing as it ean less commission for them. Cindy had said there would be issues around acquisition be could overcome them if we persisted. We did. We found a farmer who owned a property adjacent to the property in questions. They were interested in buying 50 acres from us. That hurdle was passed. However, the owners of the property were not too keen on this idea. Actually they were down right unreasonable to deal with. Cindy had said this would happen so we dug in. Throughout the course of the next year we ran into one obstacle after the other but I kept going back to the day with Cindy and thought - "no I won't give up '. My husband knew nothing about my reading as at the time he though this sort of thing was a lot of hocu-pocus. But even Scott felt in his heart it was worth fighting for. I returned to Cindy through out the course of that year and every time she assured me that this property would belong to us if we just hung in there. We did. Eventually things started to change. The farmer who was interested in the serverance finally came up with the finances to purchase. Scott went to the township to apply for severance. The people said flat out - "we will not sever this property'. We were discouraged to say the least but Cindy forwarned us of this and said that they would change their mind. As we waited for counsel to decide we were contacted by the realtor. We were informed that the property had had a cash offer from a certain Johnny Long Pockets and was expected to change hands quickly. We were to say the least crushed. I returned to Cindy to tell her of this development. She said "no don't worry; this offer stands on very shaky ground. See it through to its conclusion and you will gain victory". The very next day after that visit the realtor called and told us that the deal didn't go through. Shortly after that we were notifed by the township that our application for severance had been approved. the farmer still wanted and had the means for the purchase of the severed farmland
